Why Lower Stomach Fat is So Hard to Get Rid Of!

As you probably know, lower stomach fat is one of the hardest places to burn fat. It's the main problem for most people who start losing weight but want that extra last bit to come off - but unfortunately for most people it simply won't happen!

One of the main reasons you end up seeing more lower stomach fat than in other areas of your stomach or even your body is because of a bad posture. Because of gravity and the way you lean over just a little when you're sitting, your stomach fat kind of starts "sliding" down and ends up sitting in what you now see as that little pouch on the lower part of your stomach.

There is a more technically definition of why this happens, but it's kind of complicated and I want to keep this as "reader-friendly" as possible.

Now the other main reason you see a lot of lower stomach is simply because for some reason or another, our bodies tend to store extra body fat in the lower part of our abdominals. I'm not sure why this happens but I would theorize that your body stores the fat lower in your stomach because if there is more fat up closer to your lungs, it would place more stress on your lungs and heart and obviously more weight and stress on that part of your body is never a good thing!

Now one thing that most people don't understand is that when you lose fat, you lose the easiest parts first, then the hardest parts. So if you're a person who tends to put more fat on your lower stomach, butt and legs, that's the last place you're going to lose it from.

You're body simply has it's own unique way of storing fat and to be honest, there's really nothing you can do about it except start losing even more weight so those places don't stick out.

There are a certain number of "fat cells" in each part of your body and unless we figure out how to actually go in and re-arrange our genes, there's literally nothing you can do to help it!

So instead of worrying about how to burn off your lower stomach fat, I suggest simply trying to lose more weight overall. There's no way to do "spot-reducing" and the fat is going to end up where it's genetically designed to end up, there's no way around it.

How the Elliptical Fitness Machine Can Melt Fat Off Your Body With No Extra Work!

I have to be completely honest.

I used to hate the elliptical fitness machine and think it was a worthless piece of machinery, but I've since changed my mind. And I've changed my mind about the elliptical fitness machine because of this ridiculously simple yet overlooked way to melt fat off your body without doing anything extra.

So let me start with a short story so you know why I've changed my mind about the elliptical fitness machine.

For the longest time I've hated low intensity exercises and thought they were worthless. However lately I started thinking about it more and realized they can definitely help a person lose weight.

Last night driving home I thought of a great use for an elliptical fitness machine that I'm going to give to you now.

If you're like most people, you probably watch at least 1-2 hours of TV per night.

All I'm asking you to do is instead of laying down and watching TV, just put a TV in the same room as your elliptical fitness machine (treadmill, stationary bike, etc) and simply go at a slow pace while you're watching TV.

That's it!

Think about that. If you walk or go on your elliptical fitness machine roughly 3 miles during an hour-long show, you'll burn off anywhere from about 300-500 calories. If you do that 7 days per week, that's a pound per week you can lose without even changing your diet at all!

Do you see how powerful that can be? It takes no extra effort because you're still watching TV anyway, you're not straining yourself because you'll be doing it at a very low intensity (although you could go higher if you want), and you'll burn calories incredibly easy.

If you're struggling to lose weight, using the elliptical fitness machine or any other piece of exercise equipment like this is a very easy way to burn extra calories and start losing more fat from all your trouble areas.

What is the Best Fat Loss Supplement? My Answer Will Surprise You

A lot of people come to me asking what I think the best fat loss supplement is for them.

They think that if they can find the best fat loss supplement for them, all their weight loss issues will simply go away and they could be skinny and fit forever.

Well guess what, it doesn't work that way!

If you ask me what I think the best fat loss supplement is for you, I'll simply tell you that I think the best fat loss supplement is learning how to burn fat and build more muscle naturally.

I hate fat loss supplements and would never take them personally. They're filled with all kinds of chemicals that are bad for your body, and most of the time they're based on skewed research that doesn't show any benefits of burning fat.

I will admit that some fat loss supplements have research to back them up, but I simply don't trust the companies that make them enough to ever recommend taking them. However, if you insist on taking them I would give you my recommendations.

Which also brings me to another point.

If you're the kind of person who wants to know what the best fat loss supplement is, odds are you're looking for the easy way out. You don't want to learn how to eat right or exercise, you simply want to pop a pill and make all your weight loss issues go away.

Again, it doesn't work that way!

If you want to lose weight and build muscle, stop trying to figure out what the best fat loss supplement is and start trying to find a weight loss program that fits your lifestyle. There are dozens of different programs you could try, but you should find one that fits your lifestyle the best if you ever want to lose weight long-term.

6 Pack Abs - Why You Already Have Them And How To Make Them Pop!

What if I were to tell you that right now at this very moment, you have 6 pack abs.

You'd probably think I was crazy, right?

Well, I'm not!

Everybody in the entire world has 6 pack abs right now, but only about .25% of the world can actually see them. You see, your abs are simply a muscle hidden under your skin. The only difference between a person who can visually see their 6 pack abs and a person that can't is what is covering those muscles.

Let me explain...

If person A has 1 cm of fat covering their abdominals and person B has 10 cm of fat covering their abdominals, who do you think would have better looking abs?

You guessed it, person A would.

So Why Do People Tell Me To Do Crunches To Get 6 Pack Abs?

Put bluntly, the reason they tell you to do crunches or any other type of isolation exercise for your abdominals is because they don't know what they're talking about.

I hate to say it, but it's true. The next time someone tells you that, tell their straight to their face that they don't know jack.

The real reason people can see their 6 pack abs is simply because they a low enough amount of fat covering their abs.

Yes, exercising will help build your abs and make the grooves bigger and more pronounced, but you can get all the abdominal training you need if you simply do the right exercises.

So then, the key to getting great looking 6 pack abs is not what exercise to pick. Rather, it's what you put in your mouth.

There's a saying that bodybuilders go by, which goes as follows: "Your abs are built in the kitchen, not in the gym".

Or something like that - but you get the idea.

Instead of trying to find the perfect workout to build up your ab muscles, instead learn more about nutrition. If you do this you'll be sure to uncover those sexy looking 6 pack abs buried underneath the rubble.

Why Core Exercise Equipment Won't Make Your Abs Look Better

You've seen the commercials, "Buy this piece of core exercise equipment and you'll have flat abs in 2 weeks!" Hopefully you realize that those kinds of advertisements are completely full of "you know what". You see, core exercise equipment is a fantastic thing, but for the majority of people it's not going to do 1 lick of work towards making your abs look better when your shirt is off.

I personally only have 1 piece of equipment that I use for building a rock-hard core, but it doesn't do very much towards helping me have better looking abdominals. Sure, it helps a tiny bit, but the main purpose of any piece of core exercise equipment is that it's going to build strength in your core.

By the way, I'm not putting down exercise equipment designed to make you stronger because I believe having a strong core is the best asset you can have, I'm just saying that looks-wise, it isn't going to help.

Why Doesn't Core Exercise Equipment Give You Better Abs?

The reason is simple. You abs are a single muscle group that is covered by a layer of skin and fat - just like every other muscle in your body. If this muscle is covered in fat, you are not going to see them. If they have no fat covering them, then you will. It's as simple as that!

The real trick to being able to see your abs is having a low body fat percentage. Without it, you can kiss your abs goodbye because you're never going to see them. You can have the strongest abs in the world, but if you have a thick layer of fat covering them, nobody is going to know that. Heck, you could have abs that could take a bullet and still not be able to see them!

But these advertisers still go about, selling their pieces of core exercise equipment that supposedly will give you great looking abs. And the sad part is, they sell millions and millions of them every year.

Now I'm not saying don't buy them. In fact, there is one that I highly recommend which I still use every time I work out. The rest are complete garbage.

But my point today is that unless you know how to get rid of that fat covering your abs, you're never going to see them. Educate yourself on how to lose the fat, put it into action, and within a few short weeks or months you're going to see a huge improvement in your body.

Is This The Best Stomach Exercise? Prepared To Be Surprised

Go into any gym in your area and ask one of the people there what they think the best stomach exercise is. I guarantee that you're going to hear "crunches, sit ups, and hanging leg raises". While these exercises have their place in a workout routine (although they're nowhere near the best), there is a much more importance concept that you need to consider.

But first, let's look at what the phrase "the best stomach exercise" actually means.

In my opinion there could be one of two answers. If you ask one person, they might give you an answer that literally has to do with an exercise they believe will bring out your abdominal muscles.

However, ask somebody else who thinks a bit deeper and more philosophically and they might say that losing fat is the best stomach exercise if your goal is to have a great looking stomach. I would tend to agree with the second person. After all, what are most peoples goals when it comes to health and fitness? It's to get muscular! Or, for most women it's simply to get toned, but it's pretty much the same concept.

You need to realize that you can have the most well defined and deepest ab muscles in the world, but if you have a nice layer of fat covering them - they'll never get seen! There are a lot of boxers that can take heavyweight punches to the stomach, but yet if you saw them in real life you'd think they were out of shape.

Here's a great example. Have you ever heard of shaolin monks? These incredible monks can do things that would absolutely blow your mind. I've seen them put their entire bodyweight on top of a sharp spear, using only their stomach!

But yet, do they have 6 pack abs? Most of them aren't even close, because that's not their focus. Their focus is on gaining as much strength as possible, and boy do they do it well.

The Object Is To Do Both At The Same Time

So why not just put both responses together into one? If one person says to do stomach exercises, and the other says to do cardio or something similar to lose the fat, why not put them together to do both at the same time?

Now you might think I'm talking about doing something like doing interval training workouts. This could be something such as doing 1 exercise for your each part of your body then taking a 2-3 minute break, and repeating until you're done. This would be done in a continuous, non-stop fashion so you can get a great cardio workout in while you're building up your muscles.

However, this isn't exactly what I mean. Although I think interval training is imperative for weight loss and the best way to train your body, it's still not hitting quite on target. What I mean is to literally work your abs and do a cardio workout at the exact same time.

The "Winner" Of The Best Stomach Exercise

So now that we've come to agree upon the fact that losing fat is literally the most important part of having great looking abs, let me tell you a little about what I think is truly the best stomach exercise for strengthening your abs and helping you lose weight at the same time.
